Why Does Every Business Consultant Appear to Be So Utterly Incompetent?

Professional Psychologists say that those who don't get out enough in public begin to assume that everyone else is stupid. They then suggest that the answer to this poor sampling error is to get out in public and mingle and find out that actually everyone isn't stupid, it's just that isolation tends to favor this false perception. Well, that's what the professional academics believe, and yet, when I do go out in public and mingle or attend seminar, academic lectures or go online and watch such things, I am still left so utterly underwhelmed.

As a former entrepreneur, I see it is just as bad in the business world. We have all these know-it-all wannabe consultants running around trying to convince us of their worthiness. Most of it is all smoke-and-mirrors, that is to say, they have the degrees, resumes, and all the buzz words to baffle us with their brilliance but behind it all there is little more than BS. I've watched presentations, Power Points where they show business processes on graphs, flow charts, spread sheets, and use all sort of important words to describe it all. When they are done, I simply say; "No Doggie Doo Scoobie," I mean it's like "no Sidewalk Sunday Sherlock."

Why is it that these consultants think that all business people are stupid? Well, it's because their academic professors to justify the cost of their MBAs have sold them a bill of goods. So, why would you hire anyone, a consultant, who paid too much for their education and still owes money on their student loans? I mean that is a pretty poor business decision if you ask me, it does not show fiscal restraint or adherence to the bottom line when it comes to return on investment. See that point? I mean who is stupid here?

Speaking of intelligence, wouldn't it be nice to have AI (artificial intelligence) decision making matrix super computers for business, as then we wouldn't need all these well-dressed to impress business consultants running around sprinkling us with the latest buzz-words of the year pretending to be experts? I mean if it is ALL that academic, then who needs humans, we can program computers to do that and save us all a lot of headaches, which is what I get listening to all this business advice from business consulting professionals these days. Please consider all this, without malice of course, and think on it.
